On August 22, 2002 six Black 12 plait 6 foot whips were sent as training whips for the stuntmen and actors.

Screen Used Whips

On October 28, 2002 six more Black 12 plait 6 foot whips were sent for screen.

The Rundown


MidWestWhips in association with GLDenterprises provided 12 whips and Whip holders for the major motion picture "The Rundown". Staring The Rock, Christopher Walkin, Sean William Scott, and Rosario Dawson.

The whips provided were used for the final fight scene between three "henchmen" and the hero "The Rock"

Each "henchman" carried two whips on there belt using the holsters provided by GLDenterpirses. During the fight the whips were used for general cracking, wraps, and gun grabs.

The prop crew added many different elaborate handles to the whips, some included a knife that ejected from the butt of the handle. Click on the photos for enlarged pictures.
